Origin
Grand and Sambac jasmine varieties are the most common in perfumery, hand-picked at night when their scent is most concentrated.
Character
Heady, sweet, and slightly indolic (a warm, almost animalic undertone beneath the floral sweetness) — a small amount goes a long way.
